Rehabilitation Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist - Speech to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a critical role in helping patients recover from speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

This role involves assessing patients' communication skills and developing tailored therapy plans to address their specific needs. You'll work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support patients throughout their recovery journey.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' communication abilities
• Developing and implementing effective therapy plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and well-being

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or related field
• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• At least four years of experience working in a clinical setting
