This is a dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of business operations, market trends, and supplier dynamics. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, negotiating with suppliers, and driving business results through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate best options for supply, including acquisition, outsourcing, or insourcing
- Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of sourcing initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor management
- Progressive increase in skills and responsibilities, including leading direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in business or other management discipline
- Certification by purchasing and supply chain professional bodies (e.g., ISM, CIPS)
- Advanced English language proficiency required; Portuguese is a plus
