Job Description
We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading implementation projects and pre-projects, driving technical teams, and executing with a high sense of integration within different areas in the organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, ability to manage complex stakeholders, and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Integrate multiple related activities (and/or subprojects) to deliver the overall project scope and objectives
- Define, communicate, and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables based on stakeholders' requirements
- Develop, execute, control, and communicate the project plan
- Secure High Standards of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) during the project lifetime
- Define, communicate, manage, and control the project budget
- Define, plan, and manage systematic quality activities to meet project requirements through employing necessary processes, methods, and tools
- Create and lead the project organization based on project deliverables and define roles, responsibilities, and objectives
- Develop and implement a communication plan based on stakeholders' needs and expectations
- Develop, implement, and monitor the risk management plan
- Create and drive the project procurement plan to ensure the supplier selection and management fulfill project objectives
- Overall responsible for project execution and provide project leadership to deliver project results
- Manage scope changes and issues, variation orders (VO's)
- Provide lesson learned and input to improvement or development of processes and tools
- Manage contractual arrangements with all necessary organizational entities and maintain the support and engagement of the stakeholder group involved
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, and other related fields) preferred
- Full fluency in Spanish and English both written and spoken, required
- Solid experience as Project Manager or Senior Engineer at Tetra Pak leading implementation projects and/or pre-projects, dealing with different stakeholders, driving technical teams, and executing with a high sense of integration within different areas in the organization
- Ability to manage complex stakeholders both internal and external at all levels making use of informal authority and lead teams without authority
- Capacity to deal with uncertainty in complex projects and apply professional project management competencies according to Project Management & Implementation (PMI) standards
- Studies in Project Management
- Strong computer skills required (proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Project, and SAP required)
- Strong communication skills required
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, high sense of discipline, attention to details, ability to motivate a team, high level of negotiation skills, creative, and adaptable
- Experience in food technology and equipment development is a preference
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer-focused mindset
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
