Loan Reference Data Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Reference Data Team Lead to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of professionals to generate new ideas and create efficiencies. Your primary focus will be on acquiring knowledge of all LRD processes and functions, creating weekly dashboards to review and track progress on the team's metrics, and providing management metrics on team task and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring FreshDesk response times across the team to ensure client obligations are being met on time. You will conduct weekly check-ins with the team to share knowledge and create accountability, work closely with internal teams to review and enhance processes, and assist team members on questions they have on their day-to-day workflows. Additionally, you will monitor and track special projects assigned to team members, provide quality assurance checks on credit data, and analyze all aspects of the new deal closing, credit agreements, amendments, and restructures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a graduate degree or postgraduate degree in finance, economics, or business, or equivalent experience. You will also need a coaching mentality to build into team members to grow their career, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to query and analyze large volumes of financial data. Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office are also essential. Experience with the syndicated loan market, credit agreements, Moody's, and S&P corporate rating structure and methodology is a plus.
