About the Role
The Finance team at SAP is seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to facilitate day-to-day operations for ISBN Collections. This role is critical in ensuring seamless transactions, strengthening buyer-supplier relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operational aspects of the SAP Business Network, maintaining a strong customer focus at all times.
- Direct interaction with customers and management of outstanding receivables.
- Drive efforts to improve sign-up and renewal rates through the promotion of value the Network provides.
- Coordinate consolidated invoicing for strategic suppliers.
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team (finance, engineering, IT, sales) to improve the management of outstanding receivables.
- Monitor and analyze team performance.
- Handle global projects to enhance collections processes.
- Act as approver according to delegation of authority.
- Manage business cases with visibility to upper management and CFO office.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of related credit and/or collections experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work with minimal direction.
- Proactive work ethic and strong initiative.
- Ability to work well under pressure and uncertainty.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to implement a holistic view of the business according to the nature of the request.
