We're seeking a skilled Business Proposal Specialist to join our team at Lenovo. As a Business Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for developing high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our company's capabilities and value proposition.

Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage proposal content, including writing, editing, and revising.
  • Collaborate with our pursuit team to understand client needs and develop tailored proposals.
  • Ensure that proposals are well-organized, formatted professionally, and free of errors or inconsistencies.

Research and Analysis

  • Conduct research on client context, industry trends, and competitor offerings to gather relevant information.
  • Analyze RFP documents thoroughly to identify key requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical details and supporting materials.

Time Management and Coordination

  • Manage the proposal development process from initiation to submission, coordinating inputs from various stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain proposal schedules, outlining key milestones and responsibilities.
  • Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to meet multiple proposal deadlines.

Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management

  • Review and edit proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with RFP requirements.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure error-free and visually appealing proposals.
  • Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and best practices for future reference.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, project management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in proposal writing, preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft persuasive content.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), graphic design an advantage.
  • APMP Practitioner Certification or possession of skill set and experience to acquire certification required.
