About the RoleThe Senior Financial Controller Manager will oversee various aspects of financial management, including general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Alert the CFO to any financial irregularities or non-compliance.
- Manage business risk and implement processes for effective day-to-day operations.
- Provide financial and business ethics management, reporting regularly on agreed measures.
- Proactively alert the CFO to significant variations and factors affecting the business.
- Coordinate information provision to external auditors for annual audits.
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements for tax returns.
- Responsible for Credit and Collections, including setting credit limits.
- Conduct financial and legal analysis of cash utilization and local tax minimization strategies.
- Experience in multinational companies is highly valued.
- Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of financial experience with a general financial and accounting background.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding and experience in financial operations with demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
- Good understanding of IFRS and local regulations.
- Management skills and ability to drive implementation of procedures and policies.
- Verbal and oral English language skills are essential.
