Position Overview
We are excited to announce new openings for Tax Operations Support Analysts within our upcoming Tax Center of Excellence, which is tasked with delivering vital tax operations assistance. Each Analyst will be responsible for a designated set of regions or markets, reporting directly to the Tax Center of Excellence Leader while providing functional support to our Regional Tax Operations Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality tax operations support tailored to specific regions or markets.
- Assisting Regional Tax Operations Managers in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including accurate and timely tax filings and payments.
- Collaborating daily with external tax service providers to ensure the effective delivery of income tax, withholding tax, tax accounting, and transfer pricing compliance services.
- Evaluating the work outputs of external vendors, including direct tax returns, tax accounting computations, and reporting.
- Providing ongoing income tax accounting support, which includes journal entries, tax account reconciliations, and coordination with both internal and external auditors.
- Partnering with Kyndryl Business Units and Enterprise Support teams to facilitate the provision of essential data to external vendors for tax compliance execution.
- Offering routine tax advisory support to Kyndryl Business Units in collaboration with Regional Tax Operations Managers.
- Assisting with tax authority reviews and audits.
- Ensuring adherence to Kyndryl's Tax Controls Framework and Tax Policies and Procedures.
In this globally integrated tax function, you will leverage strong teamwork and communication skills while fostering a collaborative approach. You will also be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement, including recognizing inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
Candidate Profile
Required Skills and Experience:
- Solid understanding of withholding tax and indirect tax processes.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax and/or tax accounting, ideally with a mix of in-house experience at a large multinational corporation and experience at a Big 4 firm.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Proficient in using essential technical tools and software, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and utilizing agile methodologies.
