About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Greater Buenos Aires area. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close reporting, and verifying the accuracy of costs and reconciling subledgers to the general ledger.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate month-end close reporting
  • Verify the accuracy of costs and reconcile subledgers to the general ledger (Cash, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, etc.)
  • Collaborate with A/P, Treasury, and cross-functional teams across the company
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Accounting Manager and staff
  • Prepare internal and external financial statements
  • Assess and improve accounting operations, implementing new processes as needed
  • Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate accounting effectiveness
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead and build a strong, growing accounting team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with strong knowledge of US GAAP and 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting. They will also have proven leadership and team development skills, proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Snowflake, and Tableau, and experience in fast-paced direct-to-consumer and inventory environments being a plus.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to meet with the team in-person in Buenos Aires periodically and travel internationally as needed.
