Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Engineer - Factory Planning to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing fixtures and small hand-tools for assembly to support prototyping activities within the design-engineering department.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop fixtures and small hand-tools for assembly to support prototyping activities.
- Tooling Management: Manage the design, sourcing, and fabrication of tooling components.
- Vendor Management: Work with outside vendors to ensure the use of state-of-the-art tooling and fixturing designs.
- Assembly Planning: Collaborate with the design-engineering department to develop assembly plans and ensure the efficient use of tooling.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all tooling meets quality standards and is compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in tooling, manufacturing engineering, or assembly planning.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, experience with assembly planning and digital validation, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with coding languages.
