Job Overview

The DTP Specialist - Content Creator will be responsible for providing Desktop Publishing services, including formatting, preprocessing, and recreation in any language or format according to the clients' needs. This role will work closely with the Operations team and the proofing team to support efficient workflow and ensure the quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality DTP services in a timely manner, meeting clients' expectations and adhering to Avantpage, Inc.'s quality standards.
• Collaborate with the DTP Coordinator to ensure the quality of work and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the training and development of Junior DTP Specialists.
• Work with the Operations team to resolve any questions or doubts related to DTP assignments.
• Provide accurate time estimates to the Operations team as requested.
• Receive feedback from the DTP Coordinator, proofers, and Avantpage, Inc. team members and implement necessary changes or improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Expertise in Adobe programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) and MS Office.
• Strong communication skills in English (second language is a plus).
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively use internal reference materials and stylistic guidelines.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and prioritize tasks.
• Thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is an effective team player.
