Job Description
  • Permitting
  1. Obtain all necessary permits for new construction projects.
  2. Complete and submit permit applications for new construction.
  3. Assist with septic permits and HOA applications.
  4. Address permit application rejections in a timely manner.
  5. Facilitate communication between surveyors, architects, engineers via email and phone.
  6. Regularly call and email vendors and municipal permitting authorities to ensure on-time deliverables and permits.
  7. Ensure files are updated with all documents and permit numbers.
  8. Maintain knowledge of and be prepared to answer questions about the status of permits for all new construction.
Development Support
  1. Coordinate construction schedules for each project.
  2. Order Notices of Commencement as required.
  3. Monitor ongoing projects and provide status updates.
Transaction Support
  1. Draft purchase and sale contracts.
  2. Assist with due diligence processes for property transactions.
  3. Maintain closing calendars for every transaction to ensure the team is aware of all key dates and terms.
  4. Perform administrative support duties.
Vendor Coordination
  1. Maintain a detailed pricing list for materials and services.
  2. Verify invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  3. Track payment statuses using Excel and other reporting tools.

Key Qualifications include: university degree, minimum 4 years experience, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high responsiveness, and ability to address time-sensitive matters outside of normal hours.
