Position Overview
We are seeking Tax Operations Support Analysts to join our newly established Tax Center of Excellence, which is tasked with delivering vital tax operations assistance. Each analyst will be responsible for supporting specific regions or markets, reporting directly to the Tax Center of Excellence Leader while collaborating with Regional Tax Operations Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality tax operations support tailored to assigned regions or markets.
- Assist Regional Tax Operations Managers in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including timely and accurate tax filings and payments.
- Engage with external tax service providers to guarantee the effective delivery of income tax, withholding tax, tax accounting, and transfer pricing compliance services.
- Review the work products of external vendors, including direct tax returns, payments, and tax accounting computations.
- Provide daily support for income tax accounting, including journal entries, tax account reconciliations, and coordination with auditors.
- Collaborate with Kyndryl Business Units and Enterprise Support teams to facilitate the provision of essential data to external vendors for tax compliance.
- Offer routine tax advisory support to Kyndryl Business Units as needed.
- Assist in tax authority reviews and audits.
- Ensure adherence to Kyndryl's Tax Controls Framework and Tax Policies and Procedures.
Working within a globally integrated tax function known for its innovative approach, you will leverage strong teamwork and communication skills while fostering a collaborative environment. You will also seek opportunities for process enhancement, identifying weaknesses and implementing effective solutions.
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of withholding tax and indirect tax processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax and/or tax accounting, ideally with a mix of in-house experience at a large multinational and relevant Big 4 experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Proficient in using technical tools and software necessary for the role, such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and utilizing agile methodologies.
