Rtr Intercompany Team Lead

**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**:
The Intercompany Team Lead reports directly to the RTR General Ledger Manager. The Lead will play a key role in supporting all the activities highlighted as critical and sensitive to the operation becoming the main focal point for any Intercompany activity under the BSC scope.The Intercompany Team Lead will guide the team to accomplish with all the tasks timely and efficiently providing each team member with valuable insights and hands-on experience. In addition, this position will need out of the box and strategic thinking to leverage team's performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for overseeing the monthly close process ensuring the team adheres to the close deadlines and working to improve the efficiency of monthly close processes.
- Management of the operational activities of the Intercompany Team.
- Planning, coordination and timely completion of external and internal audit requests.
- Planning and development of systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department.
- Supervision of staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the delivery of monthly required schedules and reports.
- Review account reconciliations prepared by the team to ensure the accuracy of general ledger balances
- Establish goals and expectations for staff members and assist team members in development of their job skills
- Grant that Key performance indicators are completed timely and that the information coming from these indicators is reviewed and used to make decisions strategically.
- Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.
- Review documented business processes and problems. Work with the team in developing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Hiring, training and coaching employees.
- Grant that Standing Operating Procedures and Desktop Procedures are prepared and updated at least twice a year.
- Prepare an Update own Capacity file in order to list the activities performed and the time consumed by each of them.
- Grant that all team members Capacity file is prepared, reviewed it and use this information to manage the team efficiently
- Comply with AL Policies and Values.
- Responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of controls.
- Coordinate the activities of the Team Leads & Analysts coaching and training of his/her team members.
- Manage team resources (leaves, exams, vacations).
- Active participation in projects and transitions.

**Education**
**Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration required.**
**Experience & Qualifications**
- 8+ years Intercompany (or similar areas) experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Experience in leading projects and team activities.
- Leading skills for motivating, guiding and evaluating employees.
- Knowledge in accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines
