**About Beeflow**

Beeflow is a biotech startup company that leverages scientific knowledge and technology to improve the impact of ecosystem services in agriculture. Beeflow creates and manages pollination programs for farmers with the goal of consistently increasing crop yields. The company combines scientific knowledge of crop pollination, bee biology & behavior and chemical ecology with proprietary technologies including molecules that help train bees to pollinate specific crops and a plant-based bee diet that enhances bees’ immune system. This novel approach to pollination management allows growers to produce more with less.

Based in California and with operations across the US West Coast, Mexico, Peru and Argentina, Beeflow closed an $8.3M Series A in May 2021 with investors that include Ospraie Ag Sciences, Future Ventures, Vectr Ventures, Jeff Wilke (former CEO of Worldwide Consumer at Amazon), SOSV and others. Beeflow’s team of experts includes biologists, ecologists, entomologists, agronomists, and entrepreneurs.

**About the Role**

The Account Payable of Beeflow ensures the accounting records and financial processes are accurate and timely. This position provides critical financial information to support the Finance Manager, VP of Finance, Executive Staff, investors and the Board of Directors. This position is responsible for the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, fixed assets, general ledger maintenance, financial statements and special project accounting ensuring Beeflow is compliant with accounting.

**Requirements**:
**What will be your main responsibilities?**
- Daily payroll organization for vendors
- Reimbursement of expenses
- Accounting and monthly reporting
- Sales invoices requirement and collection follow up
- Bank reconciliation
- Help with the organization and logistics for in-house or off-site activities, such as staff meetings, celebrations and special events (in-person and online).
- Address employee queries regarding administrative issues.
- Work on on-demand projects and requests that may arise daily.
- Manage control of P&L expenses costs and revenue impact (prepaid expenses, expenses by class, categories, and employee review)
- Revenue recognition
- Control Brex expenses and impact in our books in quickbooks.

**What are the Requirements for this job position?**
- Accounting degree. If you did not study accounting but you have the skills and knowledge we are looking for, do not hesitate to apply
- 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Self-starter, hands-on, ability to work independently, and must work well with teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Problem solving skills
- Desire to generate a huge positive impact on sustainable agricultural practices.
- Bilingual English level.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to develop successful relationships with clients, suppliers and beekeepers.
- Excellent manage of Google Suite (Google Sheets)
