Description

**Role & Responsibilities**:
The client current needs is to do/redo Adobe Analytics site tagging, someone to proactively design tagging architecture, document the process and likely be involved in Adobe Target A/B tests setup (from coding and logic/measurement standpoint) over time. Basically - the front end part of analytics/marketing campaign tracking/ab tests.

**Autonomy**: Senior self-sufficient person. They should be comfortable steering their own ship. We want this person to be as hands-off as possible, self sustaining and proposing to us the ways of solving problems rather than stating that there are problems.

**Teamwork**: While they're piloting their own projects, they should also be ready to jump in and collaborate.

**Forward Thinker**: The ability to see beyond the horizon and plan for it is key.

**Challenger**: When they hit a roadblock, they should be figuring out how to get around it, clearly communicating that there's a roadblock and not waiting for instructions.

**Perfectionist, in a Good Way**: We want someone who's going to push for the best, always.

**Qualifications**:
Experience

Excellent analytical and implementation skills
Strong business acumen

**Web Tech**: We're talking HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Strong understanding required, non-negotiables.

**Data Languages**: Experience in Python or R is a big win.

**Web Scraping Tools**: Knows good scraping toolkits/frameworks or even better, have written one (even as pet project.. I find scraping enthusiasts standiout out from the crowd
Any tagging experience is mandatory, even if mínimal

**SEO**: If they've dabbled in SEO or are proficient, it's a huge advantage. I am thinking from the side of impact of website/tag changes on SEO so we don't break too many things

**Strategic Thinking**: We need someone who can plan - not just for the next task, but for far out into the future. Do we do tags to fill current needs or do we do it so tomorrow we don't have to re-tag again, kind of thinking. Having a vision for large scale tagging that's future-proof and data-savvy would be amazing

**Leadership**: They might need to take charge and manage a team of added consultants occasionally on large projects. So, they've gotta be good with people.

**The type of work the client is looking for**:
A. Hands-off evaluation of tagging of all our websites. I want the person to be able to independently track (suggest tools to track or build tools to track) data on the website.

B. He wants the person to propose and implement tag structures that are universal and allow for comprehensive tracking of web activity on all our sites with mínimal deviation

C. He wants the person to have mínimal knowledge of Adobe Analytics so they can at least QA their own work
