Tiktok Strategist

As a TikTok Expert on our team, you will be responsible for working with our new music artist on engaging videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
**Responsibilities**
- Research_
- Analyze the psychology of our target customer base
- Research the features, benefits, and unique differentiators of each product we offer
- Evaluate competitors and cross-industry trends in terms of concept, style, and other factors
- Compile and document reference videos and create a reference library
- Planning_
- Suggest scripts and ideas. Build briefs for approval by our marketing team.
- Collaborate with copywriters and creative strategists to develop angles, storylines, and scripts
- If not for yourself, create shot lists, recruit influencers, brief them on filming collaterals and B rolls, and review content performance to design new tests with the traffic team
- Identify and recruit creators and talents for video projects
- Production_
- Provide feedback to influencers and review raw footage from influencers
- Edit videos with persuasion elements in mind, create necessary graphics, and create strong visual hooks for new and existing videos
- Reformat winning content for other platforms
- Project Management_
- Manage deadlines and coordinate with the traffic team on video production schedules
- Document and templatize winning videos to facilitate the creation of successful concepts and formats, and spark new ideas within the team

**Requirements**:
- Technical_
- Deeply proficient in TikTok, Youtube, Canva, After Effects, or Photoshop
- Combine relevant aesthetics for our Italic brand with direct response elements
- Deep understanding of psychology driving “thumb-stopper” advertising to grab attention within 3 seconds
- Soft Skills_
- Commitment to learning, growing, and contributing to a fast-paced, result-driven team for at least three years.
- Low ego and thick skin. Able to take daily critical feedback constructively and iterate to build new tests. Approaches failures as an opportunity to do better.
- Passion for your craft, obsession with videos & Social
- Total responsibility for the performance of your content (If it’s working, ask why & templatize it, if it’s not working, figure out how to fix it)
- Strong communication skills. Great team player
- Be efficient and complete high-quality, detailed work on time.
- Experience_
- 3+ years of experience as a content creator on TikTok, Youtube, or Instagram
- 3+ years experience with video production
- Experience working with growth or consumer teams preferred
- Strong portfolio of content that have performed well
- Must have experience & enjoy creating significant amounts of video content
