**AdGoat** is a startup that specializes in delivering effective and innovative advertising and monetization solutions to the retail, finance, and e-commerce industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Python and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, data analysts, and product managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, including code reviews, feedback, and mentoring
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices and coding standards across the team
- Develop and maintain web scraping pipelines using Scrapy or similar frameworks to collect, clean and transform data from multiple sources
- Optimize and improve performance of existing backend systems, including database design and query optimization

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience working with Python, Node.JS and/or related technologies such as Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy, Beautiful Soup or Selenium is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of web protocols such as HTTP, REST, and WebSocket
- Solid understanding of database design and experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar
- Familiarity with software development best practices such as version control (Git), code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Nice to have**
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Advanced level of written and spoken english.
