Reservoir Engineer

Includes the construction and operation of simulation models to describe the physical processes active in the reservoir. Estimates field performance under different schemes to aid in selecting the optimal set of producing conditions for the reservoir.

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- As Reservoir Engineer you will provide support in production, reservoir engineer development recommendations and reserves booking for El Trapial field.
- Responsible to monitor and track integrity status of active and inactive injector wells. Compliance with local regulations.
- Provide input in failure analysis to identify opportunities. Responsible for KPIs (failure rate and run life).
- comply with Reservoir engineering includes scope and interaction with facilities engineering, production and production engineering.
- Responsible for waterflooding surveillance and identification of optimization opportunities (improve the balance of injected water and gross production per block and pattern).
- Advisor of “Well Reliability and Optimization” process
- Support and coordinate the Business Plan process and responsible for well interventions OPEX.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Proven reservoir engineer experience in conventional and unconventional assets.
- Reserves estimator and Resource inventory analyses for Reserves booking process is preferred.
- Proven capacity of evaluating/forecasting gas and oil including generation of production type curves.
- Experienced in Business Plan or budgeting processes.
- Highly proactive in all areas and able to deliver high quality products on schedule.
- Strong technical leadership role with proven ability to work with partners.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English within a cross-functional team, management and other stakeholders.
