**Who we need**

As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in the development and success of our organization's products. You will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to the development team and stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the product meets the needs of the customers and aligns with the company's overall goals. You will help with writing development specifications, creating user manuals, and managing the release process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather information and create high-quality documentation that meets the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

This position is 100% remote. The shift available is based on an EST schedule.

**What we need you to do**
- Help execute and contribute to the development of the product vision.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to define the product strategy and goals. As needed, conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, user needs, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and specifications, writing technical information into clear and concise documentation.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features, enhancements, and initiatives based on business value, customer feedback, and market dynamics. Continuously refine and adjust the roadmap as needed.
- Define and prioritize user stories, epics, and features, ensuring they are well-written, actionable, and aligned with the product vision. Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and development team capacity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, quality assurance, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful execution and delivery of the product. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute product releases. Conduct acceptance testing to ensure the delivered product meets the defined acceptance criteria and quality standards. Create user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and other end-user documentation to facilitate the effective use and understanding of software products.
- Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, executives, and internal teams. Solicit feedback, gather requirements, and communicate product updates effectively.
- Embrace and champion Agile principles and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Facilitate ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback, analyzing metrics, and seeking opportunities to enhance the product, processes, and team collaboration.
- Review and edit existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and accuracy, ensuring adherence to style guides and documentation standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of documentation to identify and address any gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to technical documentation and release management.

**What we want you to have**
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 is desired.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in writing and formatting technical documentation, such as functional specifications, user manuals, and release notes.
