Responsible for the definition and implementation of the Argentina learning development strategy in conjunction with Americas Learning for HSBC to enable our workforce to meet their evolving skill needs and allow them to learn effectively, at speed, and at scale in order to maximize HSBC Argentina opportunities and position HSBC as market leader.

Main activities:

- Provide thought leadership to the business line/function Executive Committee leadership to define and deliver the learning strategy through detailed and on-going consultation and strategic needs analysis
- Screens and assesses business needs to ensure development of capability across the client area
- Develops Executive Leadership/skills in partnership with Talent and Business Partners to build a culture of learning
- Actively embeds learning as applicable in support of Country Culture Plan and Snapshot results
- Accountable for guaranteeing the delivery of the Argentina learning demand, the agreed KPIs, management of AOP, and the overall learner experience
- Coordinates and responds to local legislative and regulatory needs.
- Represents Learning at senior local business and HR forums
- Actively drives, motivates and engages the Learning team on the delivery of any transformation or key initiatives set by the Americas region.
- Defines and implements learning strategy with oversight of in country Leadership and Executive Development, Culture Plan, Snapshot, and AOP to build a learning culture

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years HR experience with a major multinational organization in the area of Development
- Expertise in the areas of needs assessment and prioritization of needs, translating business objectives into solutions in a highly commercial manner
- Strong record of understanding strategic goals and executing while being a strong leader and people manager
- Experience working at a strategic level in international environments, which drives a true international perspective
- Technical Learning Knowledge (intake through deployment/ROI)
- Expertise in instructional design.
- Strong abilities to lead with impact, to balance stakeholders and demonstrate strategic mind-set
- Highly skilled in communicating policy, standards and execution requirements with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of Learning Tools and Systems
- Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory
