**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Audit and validate shipping invoices to ensure the accuracy of charges
- Review shipping contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with pricing and terms with vendors and customers
- Identify discrepancies or billing errors in shipping charges and initiate disputes with carriers or service providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and evidence to support disputes
- Maintain accurate records of shipping invoices, disputes, and resolutions
- Monitor and track the status of shipping disputes to ensure timely resolution
- Analyze root cause and process issues. Identify appropriate solutions and partner with customers and carriers as needed.
- Responsible for shipping account set-up and profile maintenance
- Analyze shipping data and provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost savings
- Reconcile monthly statements from vendors to ensure the accuracy of shipping charges
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation analysis is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficient in using shipping software and systems.
- Familiarity with dispute resolution processes and procedures.
