Descripción del empleo
AECOM Argentina is seeking an Impact Assessment & Permitting Leader to support recently won project for hydrogen development based in Buenos Aires.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, manage, and administer all personnel and projects carried out by the IAP Practice in Argentina and the eventually other LATAM Region
- Coordinate, manage, and direct project field and data collection efforts.
- Develop, manage, and deliver business strategy and tactics, high-quality proposals, interdisciplinary teams, and documents and report deliverables.
- Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and through business development initiatives.
- Proactively enforce a culture of producing high-quality work and the importance of Health & Safety within the team.
- Provide technical support to the IAP Department and individual Project Managers and support inter-disciplinary business development activities.
- Collaborate with other AECOM offices, practices, and business lines.
- Serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level staff.
- Perform client visits and field activities that require work outside the office.
**Requisitos**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural resources, Wetlands management, or an earth science-related field
- 10+ years of experience managing projects and teams to scope, schedule, and budget or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Due to the nature of the initial project an Argentinian Citizenship is required
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- 10+ years industry experience, preferably with energy and other private sector clients providing environmental assessment and permitting compliance support
- Demonstrate certificated experience in a renewable energy projects at the region with emphasis in hydrogen & ammonia plant, wind and solar
- Existing, mature, and tested Client relationships with an ability to generate new work for the Team, Office, and Company
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Thorough working knowledge of local authorities in Buenos Aires, Argentina and other federal, state, and local regulations
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, interdisciplinary teams, and workload, as well as interface successfully with Clients
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
- Self-motivated, driven, and hard working
