***About the role**

The Business Partner will focus on business analytics to deliver business reporting and data insights to support our region's business growth and profitability. This role will manage internal systems and platforms to ensure proper staff usage and maximization of resource.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Annual budgeting of revenue and costs**:Manage and prepare the region's annual budget submission for Sales and Costs. Work with Country Managers in local offices to consolidate data and rationale for regional leadership review before submission, then implement any required changes. Liaise with Regional Finance.
- **Sales forecasting**:Manage and prepare the monthly and quarterly sales forecasts for all products across all markets in the region. Extract data from various internal and external sources to develop forecasts.
- **Tracking expenses and cost control**: Manage the tracking process and forecast estimated spend at the end of the financial year based on monthly phasing of costs and pacing of actual expenses billed.
- **Performance analysis and business insights**:Lead projects to develop business analytics and data insights on performance of different products, pricing, distribution channels, and partners. Follow up Sales team performance in Salesforce.
- **Inventory Forecasting and Demand Planning**: Work with Country Managers (publishing) to develop efficient forecasting of demand for learning materials to ensure sufficient inventory of products to partners/customers
- **Tools & Systems Champion**:Manage the implementation and running of internal systems ( eg. WorkDay, Sharepoint, SalesForce, Cambridge One) to ensure accurate data and correct use
- **Monthly business reporting**:Deliver required internal reports to regional leadership team, UK head office, and external reports to distribution partners. Extract data from various internal and external sources to develop business reports.
- **Supporting business presentations**:Develop content including numerical data, text descriptions, visuals and graphs in slide presentations to articulate business analysis to various internal and external audiences.
- **Business Partner **- Regional liaison to support projects and activities by Commercial and related teams in the Head Office such as (but not limited to) Sales Operations, Analytics, Business Planning, Propositions, and AOB.

**About you**

You will possess a strong educational background, ideally holding a degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Accountancy, Technology, or a related field. With a passion for data-driven insights, you should demonstrate a keen understanding of essential business concepts and possess a wealth of essential skills.

Proficiency in Spreadsheets (particularly Excel Pivot tables) and Presentations (PowerPoint) is a must, enabling you to extract, analyze, and present data in a compelling and informative manner. A solid grasp of sales forecasting, cost control, and demand planning is essential, showcasing your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. Adept in accounting principles and pricing strategies across various channels, you should be capable of providing valuable insights that impact business decisions.
