The Presales Engineer provides sales support by advising sellers, Partners and Distributors on technical questions and specifications of the products developed and marketed by ESET, as well as preparing materials and attending events and meetings where the operation of ESET solutions and features are discussed.
Job description

Responsibilities and Duties - To organize, design and provide training on all technical and operational issues related to ESET security solutions, for customers, Distributors, Partners and channels, both online (webinars) and in person. - To participate in events and business meetings with customers to make live demonstrations of ESET products, and providing advice on their operation. - To evaluate customer needs and assist them in the implementation of ESET products. - To create testing environments at the facilities of prospects so they can try the ESET security solutions, monitoring all the testing stages, assisting them, making suggestions based on their specific needs, and providing technical support, in order to close the sale. - To design content for training materials and demos for product presentations. - To review and approve the sections of the tenders that specify technical product features, in order to check that there are no errors. - To respond to technical queries from prospects, Partners and Distributors from any LATAM country. - To comply with the Information Security Policies and Directives defined by the Company. - To integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task. - Scope: Regional of all LATAM, mainly the countries that do not have a Distributor. Requirements Education - Complete university studies in IT and/or Marketing. Experience - From 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Systems Analyst and/or in Computer Security - Complete tertiary or incomplete university studies in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or similar. Knowledge - General knowledge of IT Security. - General knowledge of IT/Computing. - Operating systems: Windows Server, Windows Home, Linux, Mac, Android. Basic programming knowledge (recommended). Languages - English: intermediate/advanced. Personal characteristics - Analytical skills. - Business perspective. - Independence. Communication - Marketing, mainly with the Product Specialist to share technical information about the products. - ESET Slovakia, for queries and observations regarding technical specifications. - Technical Support, when there are questions about product operation, or in the event of any error. - CM & Account Managers (to discuss project progress and specific situations with Partners, etc.). - Channels and Distributors. - Prospects. - Clients and prospects. Additional Information Travels - 15%
