Seeking Manager, Global Site Contracts located in the LATAM region. Global experience in the U.S. required and CRO background preferred:
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and support to the Site Contract Associates and Administrators. Provide customer-focused leadership in the execution of operational strategy and management of site contracting activities for projects. Tasks include but are not limited to the management, on-boarding, training and ongoing development of the Site Contract Associates and Administrators within the Global Site Contracts Department. Assist with the development and implementation of department processes and procedures provide overall guidance to ensure operational efficiency. May assist with development of global site contract templates, budget templates, parameters, and process documents, as needed. Interacting with other departments that play a role in the study start-up process; and implementation and maintenance of global site contracting processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manages the day to day operations and employee oversight and development for the Site Contract Department
- Develops and maintains department SOPs and working processes
- Oversee management and upgrade of the contracts database
- Trains department staff on all systems required for job function
- Works with Legal to maintain Global Site Contracts templates
- Coordinates and oversees the site contracting process
- Works cross departmentally with other groups to ensure close communications throughout the site contracting process
- Manages and tracks site contracting metrics
- Manage hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, termination, and staffing assignments across projects, including billability of staff
- Responsible for the project budgets as it relates to the Site Contracts service
- Monitor team efficiency, quality and adherence to project timelines, budget and SOPs
- Provide input to the Global Site Contracts Leadership Team to help design, develop, and update Standard Operating Procedures & departmental processes
- Able to assist staff with reviewing, drafting and editing highly complex contract language in contracts, other supporting documents and site budgets
- Responsible for escalation of issues and reporting progress to the Global Site Contracts Leadership and study teams, including plans for addressing/mitigating risks/gaps.
- Conduct departmental trainings and provide instructional presentations
- Resource employees efficiently to ensure achievement of utilization and budget targets
- Meet with direct reports on a regular basis to obtain study updates, set goal expectations and establish career goal pathways
- Facilitate process improvement efforts both within the department and in cooperation with other departments
- Participates in study financial forecasting for Site Contracting activities
- Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

- Bachelor’s degree (business or law preferred) and 7 years of contract analysis and negotiation or related experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical industry
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
