Job Details

We are now looking for a strong Lead Software Engineer as we continue to boost developer productivity and accelerating implementation with our powerful IDE and testing tool.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build - Design and Implement backend solutions and perform code and design spec reviews for peer Engineers.
- Build - Understanding of design patterns and CI pipelines.
- Quality - Passionate about delivering high-quality products and services and writing clean, solid, maintainable code. Know about shift left mindset. Document processes to help towards developer productivity.
- Quality - Improve the monitoring and observability of the services and products maintained by the team.
- Cross-Functional - Partner with Product, UX, Engineering while working through PRDs to design spec.
- Cross-Functional - Understand and/or ready to pick up tools to support a remote-friendly setup, inclining towards written async communication wherever possible.
- Customer-first mindset - Inclination to support prod issues resolution through triaging and improving processes around it.
- Team - Value team excellence over individual productivity.
- Team - Participate in and promote architectural initiatives, balancing long-term velocity with short-term customer needs. Required experience
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals including Data Structures, Algorithms, Design patterns, Relational schema design.

Skills required:

- 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and releasing highly scale software
- Strong programming skills in Java with the ability to ship well tested code. Quality mindset.
- Problem solving ability around an unfamiliar codebase, using tools available to understand a complex ecosystem.
- Strong System Design Skills with the ability to reason through different options.
- Experience with OSGi architecture design and API design. Technologies like HTTP, REST, Spring-boot, AWS, Kubernetes, microservices libs ecosystem. Experience with RDBMS like Postgres, MySQL and/or NoSQL systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with dev tools like git, Jenkins, Docker. Experience with RCPTT is a plus.
- Experience with Design Systems. Experience building UI components for Eclipse is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that inspire and motivate all levels of the staff
- Self-motivated taking initiative independently, learn quick, meet deadlines and debug/problem-solve
- Agile software development experience.
