**What are we looking for**:
Must have:

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a previous systems administration or technical support position.
- A proactive mindset, i.e. getting things done
- University Degree in Telecommunications/Computer Science.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and MS SQL Server
- Strong scripting skills in Windows PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience in setting up and managing database systems like SQL Server and MySQL.
- Good working knowledge of Linux-based operating system servers
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Vmware and Proxmox.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Understanding automation systems such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform is a plus.
- Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

- Knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations, including experience with Cisco routers, switches, and security appliances.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools like Centreon, Nagios, and Cacti.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and display a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a high-availability environment and maintain quality customer service skills. Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

**What will you do**:

- Installing hardware and software within the Nobelbiz infrastructure.
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring procedures for server backups.
- Assisting, organizing and managing the inventory of hardware and software resources.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Maintaining excellent communication with the Director of Operations and peers regarding tasks and projects.
- Addressing security compliance-related tasks.
- Providing sysadmin/DevOps assistance to the support team and implementation teams
- Escalating critical issues to senior system administrators.
- Assisting the Nobelbiz team members with help desk support.
- Work schedule: 5 work days Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 (EST)
