The role

We are looking for someone with a strong IT background, preferably from areas such as Networking or Sysadmin, and a strong interest in developing as a Cybersecurity expert. As part of the Global GRC Team, this role involves collaborating with peers across different regions and focuses on implementing regulatory frameworks and safeguarding company assets, with our information being the most valuable. Responsibilities include understanding technical requirements and applying them to business needs, conducting risk assessments such as vendor and project analysis, supporting awareness campaigns, and meeting security requirements from our clients. This role will also be responsible for assisting in internal process management and supporting automation tasks to optimize our department.

Top Key responsibilities

Support the implementation and maintenance of the global ISMS (based on ISO27001) over the LATAM region. Evaluate the compliance status and provide follow up.Identify risk related to information security in the technical environment, the relationships with third parties or any component of the company's operations.

Design and implement automation processes to enhance team efficiency and reduce resources spent on operational tasks.  Investigate on technologies that could improve the security baseline and the compliance (e.g. DLP, end-point protection, network security, security and vulnerabilities assessment). Understand about technical and administrative controls in the different areas: networking, operations, access management, SSDLC, cloud security, end-point protection, physical security, third party risk assessment, organization security and legal compliance. Identify security threats and risks over processes, conducts, technology and context which may affect the information confidentiality, integrity or availability..  Analyze third-party solutions to identify security risks before adopting or implementing them. This will require knowledge in technical areas such as protocols, databases, and cloud environments. Contribute in the development of awareness material and the process of delivery and measurement. Perform routine activities to ensure compliance with security frameworks and legislation.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree/advanced education in Computer Science, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT industry. Proven experience in IT areas such as  Networking Cloud Computing (AWS-GCP) Log analysis and troubleshooting Access Management (preferable using IDP solutions) Mobile Device Management Endpoint Protection DNS (BMI,SPF,DMARC) Upper Intermediate English level. This will be tested during the interview process

Preferred Qualifications

+1 year of dedicated experience in any of the following areas: System Administrator Security Consultant Security Analyst/Engineer Information Security related Certifications/Trainings
