This operational support position offers an opportunity to expand the applicant's knowledge of United's best practices and Digital Technology's tools, processes, and functions. Under the guidance of senior leaders in the Field Services organization, the role involves managing logistics for complex large projects, coordinating project plans, training, and execution. The responsibilities also include ensuring the functionality and quality of solutions, handling technical and business requirements, and overseeing LAN, WAN, VOIP, CCTV, mobility platforms, and infrastructure activities in accordance with United's IT critical infrastructure standards. The successful applicant should possess strong project management, telecommunications expertise, and exceptional customer service skills, while fostering an inclusive environment that values and supports individual differences.
**Job overview and responsibilities**
- Supports regional airports, customer service centers, contact centers and all other United Airlines facilities. Duties include walkthroughs, Digital Technology (DT) equipment support, preventative maintenance, mobility product support, DT infrastructure support, operational equipment and communication rooms, base location inventory management and supply storage.
- Creates a work environment that embraces and appreciates diversity
- Performs system maintenance/administration, diagnostics, automated imaging of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, installation and removal of PC equipment
- Manages day to day activities for enterprise level support for iOS and Android, drives Audio Visual (AV) innovation and standardization across the region, performs CCTV Testing, diagnostics, and repairs of product for the region
- Attends regional project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis.
- Supports the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
- Coordinates activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers. Network Engineering, WAN Engineering, WiFi Engineering, mobility Engineering
- Ensures the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) conform to established enterprise/industry standards Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA), Telecommunications Industry association (TIA) monitor, manage, and maintain (DT) Digital Technology infrastructure and end user equipment to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved

**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- An Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent (DT) Digital Technology experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience
- Mobility IOS/Android, Windows, LAN room and (DT) Digital technology Infrastructure experience (Copper, fiber optic)
- International Travel required (60%) along with after-hours work and weekends support, as needed
- Provides on-site support and is on-call 7x24x365, as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in Argentina for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
