The Role:

You will collaborate across teams—working closely with front-end developers, back-end engineers, and data experts—to deliver cohesive, high-quality product increments. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, full-stack development expertise, and a proactive approach to driving technical solutions from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

  1. Full-Stack Development & Integration:
  • Design, develop, and maintain React.js components integrated with back-end APIs.
  • Build and optimize Laravel/PHP back-end services, including RESTful APIs and database models.
  • Bridge the gap between front-end and back-end systems to ensure seamless data flow, user interactions, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with the Data Virtualization Expert to integrate data-driven visualizations into dashboards.
  • Ensure responsiveness, scalability, and security across the stack.
Collaboration & Scrum Participation:
  • Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with the Development Team Lead to align architecture, implementation, and technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and UI/UX designers to clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.
Quality Assurance & Testing:
  • Conduct peer code reviews across the stack to ensure coding standards and maintain quality.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks.
Problem-Solving & Technical Leadership:
  • Proactively identify technical challenges and propose practical, maintainable solutions.
  • Drive API design and contract negotiations between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Assist in resolving blockers that involve multiple technical layers.
  • Refactor and optimize existing codebases (both front-end and back-end) for performance and maintainability.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to improving team workflows, standards, and technical excellence.
Documentation:
  • Document APIs, workflows, and integration points for transparency and reusability.
  • Record key technical decisions, implementation details, and system assumptions.
Adherence to Team Standards:
  • Follow best practices for version control (Git), coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Ensure compliance with the team's Definition of Done (DoD) and project workflows.
  • Work within company-established development, deployment, and escalation processes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js (ES6+, JSX, component architecture).
  • Solid experience building RESTful APIs and backend systems with PHP (Laravel Framework).
  • Strong understanding of database design and development (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Experience building and integrating dashboards, reporting features, or data visualizations.
  • Solid grasp of API design principles, data structures, and system architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SSO systems, third-party integrations, and secure API authentication.
  • Familiarity with caching, queue systems, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Github) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in building enterprise dashboards or reporting systems.
