Job Description:

As a QA Manager, you will oversee the entire Quality Assurance function, managing both manual and automation testing efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will define and implement QA strategies, lead cross-functional collaboration, and promote best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Your leadership will help shape a robust quality culture, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvements across teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring QA engineers, aligning testing efforts with business goals, and ensuring timely, defect-free releases.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the QA team, encompassing both manual and automation engineers, ensuring alignment with product and project goals.
  2. Develop and implement QA strategies and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage for all software releases.
  3. Oversee the development and execution of manual test cases and automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
  4. Establish and monitor KPIs and testing metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA efforts and ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate testing into every phase of the SDLC.
  6. Manage the planning and execution of regression, functional, integration, and API testing.
  7. Drive the adoption of CI/CD processes and automation tools to streamline delivery and improve testing efficiency.
  8. Identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure high-quality product releases.
  9. Mentor and guide junior and senior QA engineers, providing regular feedback and supporting their professional development.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest QA trends, tools, and methodologies to promote innovation and process improvements.
  11. Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing efforts align with timelines and deliverables.
  12. Foster a collaborative environment between QA, development, and product teams to ensure a culture of quality.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, including experience with test management tools and frameworks.
  4. Solid knowledge of version control systems (i.e. Github), CI/CD pipelines (i.e. Jenkins) and cloud platforms (i.e., AWS).
  5. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  6. Proven track record of leading QA efforts in an Agile environment.
  7. Strong understanding of SQL/MySQL for data validation and backend testing.
  8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
  9. English proficiency – Advanced, capable of communicating effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
  10. Experience in the travel industry or other complex, service-oriented domains.
  11. Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  12. Strong problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
