The Human Resource Coordinator works closely together with the Human Resources Director and also works with hiring managers, and other HR/payroll personnel to ensure that the organization's HR policies, processes, and practices are as efficient and high-performing as possible.

The Human Resources Coordinator is accountable to the Human Resources Director and at times may be required to perform tasks or duties assigned by executive management.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Knows, follows, and upholds TeamBuilders' philosophy, policies & procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening candidates, conducting job screening interviews, scheduling interviews, and supporting the hiring process.
  • Support recruitment efforts by registering for approved events and coordinating with management staff to attend events.
  • Represent the organization at health fairs, job fairs, career fairs, and community outreach events as needed.
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding procedures including but not limited to conducting background checks, reference checks, employment and licensing verifications.
  • Enrolling employees in benefits plans, answering questions about coverage and benefits, and ensuring compliance with benefits requirements.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. Update and maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance information.
  • Stay updated on relevant labor law, ensuring adherence to personnel policies, and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Coordinate employee training and development programs, including scheduling sessions, preparing/collecting sign-in sheets, and communicating with management/staff to ensure employee engagement and participation.
  • Assists with event planning and logistics for training & professional development initiatives including new hire training and orientation, annual training, and other planned events.
  • Monitor, report, and ensure that all staff meet new hire, annual training, and licensure requirements. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Human Resources Director and/or executive management.
  • Support the HR team in various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, organizing files, and maintaining HR databases. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Pre-Employment Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the human resources field (beyond summer or short-term internships). Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential job duties may be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Human Services or related field preferred.
  • Obtain a Criminal Records Clearance (local, state, and FBI).
  • Must maintain a clean driving record and active auto insurance coverage.
$25 - $27 an hour
