Position Summary:
The position of the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the completion of all language projects.
Position responsibilities:
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Manage the entire life-cycle of multiple localization projects in a fast-paced environment
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Coordinate all the project phases and efficiently predict the lifespan of all the stages of the project
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Negotiate deadlines and rates with vendors
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Monitor and control projects status
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Manage project finances, including budgeting
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Prepare and maintain project documentation
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Comply with relevant and applicable procedures
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Perform quality checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy (proofreading, final eyeu2026)
Essential skills and experience required:
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills, other languages would be an asset
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar position in corporate environment
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Ability to meet deadlines
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Highly-developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
- u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Experience in translation and localization project management would be a strong advantage
