Job Title: Director of Business Development - Latin America
Job Summary: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends to identify potential business expansion areas.
- Lead the identification and pursuit of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to enhance the company's market presence and revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to develop and implement effective business development initiatives.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust the business development strategy accordingly.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual and team goals are met.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress towards targets, and key metrics to the executive team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior business development role, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding business networks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive for success and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of the industry landscape, market dynamics, and emerging trends relevant to the company's products or services.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
