Job Title: Director of Business Development - Latin America

Job Summary: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive company growth and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze industry trends to identify potential business expansion areas.
  2. Lead the identification and pursuit of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to enhance the company's market presence and revenue streams.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to develop and implement effective business development initiatives.
  5. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  6. Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and adjust the business development strategy accordingly.
  7. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring individual and team goals are met.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, progress towards targets, and key metrics to the executive team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Proven experience in a senior business development role, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding business networks.
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing market conditions.
  6. Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
  7. Results-oriented mindset with a strong drive for success and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  8. Knowledge of the industry landscape, market dynamics, and emerging trends relevant to the company's products or services.
  9. Bilingual English/Spanish.
