About the Position

In this position, you will:

  1. Be effective in a team environment working with fellow engineers, product management, and design.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and partners across teams and departments.
  3. Have a focus on quality, and operate iteratively to get from good to better.
  4. Ensure platform uniformity by working closely with the Android team.
  5. Write performant, maintainable code that is easy to read and well-documented.
  6. Write automated tests to thoroughly validate the correctness of your code.
  7. Be a part of your team's on-call rotation; we all own our code end-to-end from development to deployment to operations.

Qualifications

You should have:

  1. Expert in Swift, SwiftUI (including Combine).
  2. Have published at least one app on the App Store, preferably still available.
  3. Extensive experience with major iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
  4. Extensive knowledge of Apple's design principles, HIG, WWDC keynotes.
  5. Expert level proficiency in Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.
  6. Experience working with remote data via GraphQL, REST and JSON.
  7. Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM, dependency injection, observers, etc.
  8. Experience with Github actions for continuous integration.
  9. Experience with Swift Package Manager and Cocoapods.
  10. Familiarity with implementing synchronous audio/video solutions is beneficial.
  11. Familiarity with both Google Firebase services and AWS services.
  12. Aptitude to quickly learn new languages and technologies as necessary (Python, Kotlin, Java).
  13. Strong code versioning skills (rebase/merge/pull requests/squashing).
  14. Computer Science or related degree.
