Responsibilities of the RoleSupport the Operations Manager by being an expert on the operational and technical requirements of the building.

We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team in the position of Facility Coordinator:

  • Location: Vicente Lopez, Argentina
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Work arrangement: On-site
  • Contract Type: Permanent

What You'll Do on a Daily Basis?

  • Oversee office operations activities, including financial aspects, technical issues, maintenance, procurement, supplier management, and office assets.
  • Implement and manage operational and maintenance processes for the office building/floors at the client's site.
  • Create a comprehensive work plan to ensure efficient operations, establish performance metrics, and resolve issues (CPI/KPI) effectively.
  • Adhere to the site's risk procedures following local regulations and client policies.
  • Develop relationships with maintenance and service providers based on client requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor safety regulations as per local laws and client policies, where applicable.
  • Oversee office facilities, including managing contracts for cleaning, air conditioning, access control, and maintenance.
  • Ensure budget forecast compliance on an annual basis.
  • Maintain quarterly accuracy within a +/-2% range.
  • Support the Facilities team in achieving budget and financial control objectives.
  • Meet the savings targets set by the Facilities Manager.
  • Monitor Open Items in the SAP system.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the maintenance provider's adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings within contractual terms.
  • Spot areas for service enhancements.
  • Understand the operation and scope outlined in the maintenance service provider contract.
  • Ensure compliance of maintenance service provider with HS&E material standards and protocols.
  • Timely creation of Good Receipt for invoices.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing maintenance service activities.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of contractors.
  • Ensure quality standards and customer service expectations are met.
  • Monthly monitoring of employee entries and exits, updating the OVSM system.
  • Support audits (CSA) for the requisitions team.

Desired Background and Skills

  • Fluency in English
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial operations or Facilities management
  • Technical expertise in building and office maintenance, covering Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic, HVAC, Generators, UPS, Occupational Safety, and fleet management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing suppliers and technical challenges.
  • Effective communication abilities (written, verbal, presentations).
  • Capability to handle various complex office operations scenarios daily.
  • Understanding of business contracts and cost sheet management.
  • Problem-solving skills for ambiguous and intricate situations.
  • Proficiency in engineering, technical, and financial environments.
  • Computer literacy (software and hardware).
