Job Summary:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will oversee and secure our IT infrastructure, with a focus on servers, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity. Your main responsibilities include ensuring secure IT operations, supporting system architecture tasks, and safeguarding sensitive data. This role demands technical expertise, proactive security measures, and efficient incident response and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Management: Set up, configure, and maintain server environments, including FSLogix, Teams, and Chrome.
  • Troubleshooting: Address server configurations, user access, and server pools.
  • Virtual Environments: Establish and manage virtual environments for testing and deployment.
  • Cybersecurity: Perform vendor risk assessments and oversee cloud-hosted solutions.
  • Systems Operations: Update and maintain systems across multiple platforms, including Windows 11.
  • Incident Response: Implement incident response plans from detection to recovery.
  • Security Controls: Develop and enforce security controls for privileged accounts.
  • Identity Governance: Handle identity governance following principles such as Least Privilege and Zero Trust.
  • Security Audits: Conduct security audits, penetration tests, and compliance assessments.
  • SIEM Tools: Manage Security Information and Event Management tools.
  • Application Updates: Devise strategies for critical application updates.
  • Network Configuration: Configure network settings for optimal performance and security.
  • Disaster Recovery: Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning.
  • Threat Analysis: Conduct threat analysis on VoIP applications.
  • Device Policies: Manage device policies and configurations according to security standards.
  • Azure Cloud: Design and maintain secure Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Software Development: Ensure secure coding practices and integration with other systems.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor and manage Azure resources for cost efficiency and performance.
  • Security Services: Implement and maintain Azure security services for enhanced cybersecurity.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or cybersecurity.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows server environments and cloud technologies.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of network architectures and data protection protocols.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services and security practices.
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and proactively mitigate security risks.
  • Strong multitasking and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
  • Understanding of Azure monitoring and logging services for security and performance.
