The role:

At Kin + Carta, we specialize in the latest technologies, guiding medium to large businesses in strategic decisions regarding their tech investments moving forward.

As we expand our reach with new clients and projects, we're on the lookout for a seasoned professional to join us as a Senior Specialist in Client Finance to bolster our Client Finance division.


Role responsibilities:

  • Issuing invoices to clients, handling weekly and monthly billing derived from timesheets and expenses, obtaining approvals, and submitting monthly bills to clients
  • Collaborating with clients and sales executives to streamline the onboarding of potential clients and predict billing projections
  • Providing financial reports to clients at varying intervals as per their needs
  • Effectively communicating with clients to promptly address invoicing inquiries
  • Assisting the finance team in resolving payment collection matters with clients
  • Maintaining well-organized files for Accounts Receivable and client agreements
  • Assisting the Client Finance team holistically to ensure data precision

Sales Force:
Rate Cards (billing rates and applicable discounts), Payment Terms, Project Details (commencement and closure dates), budget oversight, and more.

  • Collaborating with the Client Finance Manager
  • Ability to present metrics to the Regional Controller

Minimum qualifications:

To excel at Kin + Carta, it's imperative that all new hires meet the following minimum requirements outlined below. Even if you don't satisfy all the Preferred Qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
  • Proficiency in English
  • Over 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting support capacity
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Comfortable interacting with employees, clients, and vendors across various levels
  • Capable of forming partnerships with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong skills in organization, communication, and time management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Database Management is a bonus
  • Experience with Salesforce/FinancialForce PSA and FFA is advantageous
