What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and lead a team of professionals in the reporting and consolidation area.
  • Coordinate the collection of financial and operational data from various business units for consolidation and presentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes for generating financial reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and present periodic financial reports, including consolidated financial statements, variance analysis, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with accounting, treasury, reconciliations, and finance teams to ensure consistency in accounting records and transactions.
  • Participate in identifying and implementing improvements to reporting and consolidation processes, including technological solutions when necessary.
  • Conduct trend analysis to provide valuable insights to senior management and assist in strategic decisionmaking.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting.
  • Involvement and support regarding audit requirements.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant experience (4+ years) in accounting, currently working as accounting supervisor or manager preferably in the payment industry or a related field, prior Big 4 experience is highly valuable.
  • Indepth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience in supervising and managing teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present complex financial information to nonfinancial audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proactive and resultsoriented attitude, with leadership and change management skills.
