As a Communication Lead, you will responsible for thinking strategically, keeping a 360o MarComm view and implementing our comprehensive external communication strategies to support Vestas business objectives, brand, reputation, and positioning as an innovator in the sustainable energy market.


  • Develop and execute advanced external communications outputs and outcomes to further, reinforce, and protect Vestas' business goals, market position, and brand reputation
  • Leverage wideranging experience with Vestas departments and disciplines to lead external communications plans
  • Foster a deep understanding of Vestas' internal audiences to creatively communicate business strategy and direction while simultaneously building a feeling of belonging
  • Develop a more datadriven communications strategy through identifying quantitative and qualitative data collection opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships with industry media partners, respond to media requests, and identify key media opportunities to position Vestas as thought leaders in the renewable energy space
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and internal/external partners to design and execute comprehensive and integrated communications and marketing plans and content that align with Vestas' business strategy, enhance company culture, and improve employee engagement
  • Serve as a strategic leader and liaison with the Global Communications & Marketing teams to ensure regional objectives are integrated into global strategies
  • Coordinate and guide Vestas ́attendance to industry, proprietary and thought leadership events

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in business, marketing or communication discipline, or equivalent
  • 5+ years handson experience in strategic communications, press relations, social media channels and events
  • Great project management skills and stakeholder management
  • Qualified written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English & Spanish
  • Proficiency in Portuguese would be a benefit
