As a Senior QA Engineer at Sovos, you'll collaborate closely with customers and team members to ensure seamless functioning of products and services as expected. Understanding the rationale behind our software development and testing processes is crucial, enabling you to actively contribute and influence your peers.

  • Recognize areas for testing improvement and proactively address gaps
  • Champion QA Best Practices even in high-pressure scenarios
  • Establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a product module
  • Play a vital role in sprint planning for effective story management
  • Emphasize automated tests in all test suite executions
  • Elevate automated tests for efficiency, motivating the team towards top-notch results
  • Ensure automated tests are integrated into continuous integration
  • Contribute to automated test stability within the team
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and supporting decision-making processes
  • Concisely communicate acquired knowledge to diverse audiences
  • Effectively address complex domain-specific topics, problems, and solutions
  • Pioneer the organization's productivity through structural and roles and responsibilities assessments
  • Influence various product and tech teams towards optimization
  • Collaborate to meet team deadlines and commitments
  • Offer constructive feedback and receive input positively
  • Facilitate challenging conversations and escalate when necessary
