What You Will Do
- Responsible for developing strong relationships throughout area of responsibility to foster an advisory or collaborative approach to proactive compliance.
- Focal point of Legal in Argentina
- Under direct supervision, perform a variety of legal activities in accordance with the established standards and provides advice to the company in less complex legal aspects such as trade and commercial matters, foreign investment, technology transfer, labor and corporate issues.
- Prepares and/or reviews contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents to ensure legal compliance.
- Follow the established procedures and assist in a variety of assigned legal projects
- Advise the company in less complex legal aspects for trade, commercial matters, foreign investment, technology transfer, labor, and corporate issues
- Research, analyze and interpret case law, court reports, and proposed and existing laws and regulations to prepare technical reports on how they impact the organization's operations.
- Independently drafting and editing basic contracts
- Providing timely advice and counsel to clients
- Providing accurate information and research to a supervisor regarding laws and regulations
- Providing support related to the development of inhouse training and education
- Following and educating others on internal processes
- Collaborating and communicating with colleagues, management, and outside counsel
- Working with outside counsel
- Assisting on other matters as needed.
- Coordinates document signatures and other actions with local Compliance Officers.
- Performs other tasks as may be necessary to assist the Legal and Compliance Department.
What You Will Need
- +7 years of experience in similar positions (Legal Area)
- Fluid English
- Law degree and admission to practice law in Argentina.
- English advanced will conduct meetings, report and be part of a Global Structure
- Previous experiences in HealthCare industries will be considered a plus.
