As the
_Vice-President Sub-Region South America_ of Siemens Energy, you will be accountable for the overall direction, business development, go-to-market strategies, and performance of the organization in the legal entities in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, and Bolivia.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Proactively drive and help lead Hub Latin America (leading by example) in all aspects, promote our values and the transformation journey.
  • Act as Siemens Energy's key representative in the country through proximity to customers, authorities, and other stakeholders & shareholders.
  • Build and maintain excellent relations with central and local government authorities to support the development and brand of SE in the territory.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate the internal stakeholders to achieve the organization's operational and financial goals ensuring full compliance to SE and country laws.
  • Oversee the development and update of Sub-Region's contribution to the Energy Transition in Latin America as well as to the Growth Strategy of Latin America, including partner & network strategy.
  • Lead and coordinate efforts of a team of executives with a focus on strategy development and growth.
  • Determine the subregion policies of the organization in line with Global Strategy and Frameworks. Ensure that legal rules and regulations are adhered to in the Countries represented.
  • Promote, lead, and drive development and talent management for the local team.
  • Manage parts of the local entity's budget and drive for cost optimization in the country, in transparent collaboration with the Country/Legal Entity Finance Director.
  • Identify, manage, and report on the corporate risks including financial, insurance, operational, project, market, and regulatory risk, also, in transparent collaboration with the Country/Legal Entity Finance Director.
  • Support the Key Account community in the country, in conjunction with the Sub Region head of Business Development.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of direct, proven experience in the energy oil, gas, chemical or petrochemicals industry within a consulting or engineering environment.
  • Talented and wellrounded senior industrial executive with extensive exposure across functions within a multinational corporation
  • Superb leadership (prior experience essential) and proven team leadership qualities; you should be versatile, creative, lean, agile, and proactively get into the details and work in a handson way.
  • You should be able to demonstrate a variety of work experiences touching on industries related to the energy industry and the energy transition.
  • Able to articulate a deep understanding of South America Energy landscape and industry.
  • Individual who promotes change management, silosbreaking and embraces Siemens Energy's values and role models our key behaviors specially around active management of intercultural sensitivities.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
