It isn't a question.The Tax Analyst Sr is responsible to lead and coordinate all Argentinian tax matters. This role will be based in Buenos Aires and will report to the LATAM Tax Manager located in Brazil.
The individual will drive trust, efficiency and the communication of information within the LATAM Tax team located at the shared service center in Costa Rica, as well as to the Controllership organization and business partners in order to facilitate collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Meeting tax compliance deadlines for payments and assisting in preparing and reviewing tax return workpapers and tax returns.
- Assist the LATAM tax team in the preparation of Argentinian annual tax reporting;
- Review and upkeep of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for law updates, fiscal process changes, and the inclusion of special situations or scenarios;
- Analyze changes in the local legislation and map the impacts for the company;
- Liaise with external advisors and auditors;
- Support in data gathering and preparation of responses to tax audits and notices as required;
- Develop professional relationships with the Finance team based in Argentina, as well as with the Controllership organization and the LATAM tax team both located mainly in Costa Rica;
- Guarantee accurate and quality information for tax compliance purposes on data analysis extracted from the ERP.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related areas.
- 5 + years working on tax, and statutory accounting processes.
- Previous experience in a shared service center environment and/ or a Big 4 is a bonus.
- Advanced English Level.
- Deep knowledge of Argentina Taxes and Statutory processes.
- Deep knowledge of gross income taxes and IVA.
