Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is currently seeking, for the Tax Center of Excellence located in Buenos Aires, a Tax Analyst to work in the Global Income Tax Operations Group doing U.S.

Income Tax Compliance.

The main responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Accurate and timely preparation and submission of U.S. Federal Income Tax returns for assigned non-U.S. subsidiaries.
  • Regular direction and interaction with the U.S. based Corporate Income Tax Operations Team, and regular interaction with local nonUS tax and accounting teams.
  • Provide support on tax audits from the IRS and internal audits.
  • Provide support on tax planning activities and adhoc projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant business and internal controls.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of prior experience in the accounting, auditing or tax department of a company, preferable large multinational employer or a Big
  • Be a strong communicator with advanced spoken and written English skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as a strong teamplayer.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proeficient use of technical tools and programs required to perform responsibilities (such as: MS office
  • Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Cognos Analytics and similar tools.
  • Be proactive, committed to meet all deadlines, prioritize workload and manage multitasking.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Knowledge and experience with U.S. Income Tax.
