  • Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Senior Tax Analyst located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • About you and this role
  • What you would do in this role:
  • In this role, you will use working knowledge and experience in the Latin America Indirect Tax and Accounting job discipline in order to analyze the tax law and all the accounting details to translate it into information useful for Tax purpose.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Support the local taxes key processes and procedures for Argentina in order to meet all local requirements and regulations.-
  • Guarantee internal taxes compliance (deadlines and internal policies control) for local activities related to the function.-
  • Responsible for administrative activities related to day-to-day taxes processes.-
  • Analyze and propose solutions to specific situations and projects.-
  • Internally collaborate and advice across business and functions on taxes matters.-
  • Attend local governmental tax authorities when required.-
  • Manage and administer governmental tax authorities' systems and internal platforms.-
  • Be the focal point for consults regarding the interpretation and impact of Dow Policies and Procedures on business activities including business contracts, acquisitions, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, financial closings, operations results, accounting audits (external and internal).-
  • Monitors, develops, and analyzes Tax legislation proposals and their impact on Dow companies.-
  • Provides support for tax planning projects.-
  • May perform other jobs related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Business Administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, 5+ years of relevant technical experience and knowledge on taxes and relations with local governmental tax authorities
  • Advanced English
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, and SAP.
  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication, ability to thinkonyourfeet, have a customer service attitude
  • Demonstrates initiative, proactivity
  • Able to work with diverse, crossfunctional team members and business partners
  • Works independently, is selfmotivated, and accountable
  • Good team player and troubleshooter
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting deadlines
  • Interest to develop a career the Taxes area.
