About the Role


We are looking for an associate to join our South Cone Strategy & Planning team (Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay).


The team is responsible for leading our long-term growth strategy, annual planning cycle, business forecasting, and governance of business cadences.


This role calls for the following:

  • Someone who can navigate a highly diverse set of stakeholders to drive action and results
  • Someone with a high business sense that can understand complex problems fast, recommend a practical course of action, and follow through
  • Someone who understands and speaks data, operations, and strategy equally well

What You'll Do
- **Strategy**: Work closely with the leadership and S&P teams across Latam to build a shared vision and strategic approach for the region and run strategic, consulting-like, projects

Planning: Build & maintain financial and operation models, operational reporting, OKRs, projections, and key business metrics to advise leadership decision making
-
Hands-on execution:Scale, build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist the operation while also stepping into operational gaps to help the local teams implement strategic initiatives
-
Project management: Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, support strategic bets that are being incubated or require strategic leadership and support across the region
-
Develop Relationships: Collaborate with other functional areas (Business Development, People Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Rides, Eats, Cornershop, etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships

What You'll Need

  • Full proficiency in English
  • At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, process optimization, business intelligence and/or strategy
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and crossfunctional teams
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Selfstarter, the ability to selfserve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role
  • Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something handson, you persevere when others fall away
  • Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and datadriven approach to issues preferred
  • Experience implementing process optimization frameworks preferred
  • Sophisticated analytical capabilities preferred, including knowledge of statistics and comfort with SQL
