As an Associate Manager of Strategic Corporate Initiatives (OPEX) at SC Johnson, you will play a key role in driving Operational & Process Excellence through various streams:

  • Process Excellence (PE): Enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  • Operational Excellence (OE): Establishing a top-notch operating model for shared service centers.
  • Lean Capability Building: Fostering Lean knowledge across all staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become proficient in Lean techniques and methodologies.
  • Lead working sessions to assist departments in enhancing their processes through Process Excellence.
  • Support departments in adopting Operational Excellence best practices in their daily operations.
  • Act as a Project Management Officer (PMO) for PE/OE projects.
  • Provide guidance and training to SC Johnson employees.
  • Promote global process standardization and a culture of sharing best practices.
  • Cultivate a high-performing Operational and Process Excellence culture that prioritizes process speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a university degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Advanced English.
  • Available for travel.
  • Demonstrate a passion for instigating change and achieving results.
  • Operate with a mindset that challenges the status quo and employs Continuous Improvement tools effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to structure, analyze, and creatively solve problems.
  • Effective influencing, communication, and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability to thrive in new work environments and manage uncertainty.
  • Skilled in facilitating team sessions and achieving results through collaboration.
  • Ability to extract core insights from complex situations with a focus on impact.
