What you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other CI tools like Concourse CI, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
  • Aiding in migrating CI/CD processes from Concourse CI to Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Developing automation tools for Git, notifications, and JIRA to streamline team productivity
  • Using Docker for consistent application builds
  • Optimizing AWS and/or GCP infrastructure to support development and deployment
  • Working closely with software engineers to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes
  • Tackling build, deployment, and infrastructure issues efficiently
  • Continuously enhancing build and deployment processes for improved efficiency and reliability

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of Python experience
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python
  • Proven track record in CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for application building
  • Familiarity with managing cloud platforms like AWS and/or GCP
  • Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills for complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working across teams
  • Upper-intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
